During the Japanese occupation, Taiwan soutokufu formulated many policies. Education is part of its conceive. Through elementary education, higher education, industrial education, and social education, Taiwanese can eliminate bad habits and learn modernization. Education is also the best way for people to “Kominka”. The historical materials of this article are mainly based on the “Taiwan Zi Zi Xin Pao ”, discussing the social education of Hsinchu during the Japanese rule, focusing on the “enlightenment”, Mandarin seminars, youth corp, syonendan, hamlet revitalization, and civilization unions mentioned in the report.
