日語教育觀點看AI 的語言能力（The Language Ability of AI from the Perspective of Japanese Language Education）

日本語教育から見たAIの言語能力

21世紀，人工智能AI不僅活躍在遊戲領域，在資訊蒐集、汽車自動駕駛、無人機、醫療診斷等領域也很受用，而且也被應用於語言教學領域。本文的目的是從日語教育的角度來思考人工智能的日語技能。首先，在概述AI的聽解、口說、閱讀、翻譯能力之後，再舉例考察AI的書寫技能。從結果來看，2022年AI似乎還沒有達到與人類同等水準的日語技能。但靠著機器學習和深度學習，今後有望獲得能力的提升。筆者認為，與其迴避，不如盡可能地了解AI的原理，將AI的語言技能作為教學工具，使其成為日語教育的助力。

As of the 21st century, artificial intelligence AI is active not only in games, but also in fields such as information gathering, autonomous driving of cars, unmanned vehicles, and medical diagnosis, and is also used in language education. The purpose of this paper is to consider AI's Japanese language skills from the perspective of Japanese language education. First, after giving an overview of AI's listening, speaking, reading, and translating skills, we considered AI's writing skills wi th examples. From the results, it seems that AI does not yet have the same level of Japanese skills as humans as of 2022, but machine learning and deep learning are expected to make progress. Instead of avoiding it, we should understand the mechanism as much as possible, and use its language skills as a teaching tool to be a plus for Japanese language education.
