The purpose of this study is to explore the proactive coping response levels and implementation strategies of civil servants who continue to re-employ after retirement. It explores the practical experience and viewpoints of 13 re-employed people who have retired by qualitative research methods and semi-structured interviews. The research results summarized the following two conclusions: The triggering factors for reemployment of retired public servants include internal factors (spontaneous reflection) and external factors (potential stressors). Four levels of proactive coping and eight strategies were identified: 1. Cognitive attitude level: Self- and physical adjustment, Continuous social interaction; 2. Planning level: Strengthen professional skills, Make good use of information Technology; 3. Action level: Uphold lifelong learning, Active career preparation; 4. Creative level: Cross-domain connection thinking, Use creative integration. The article also makes suggestions for public servants and the government. |
