This study focuses on whether writing life stories has positive significance for seniors. Through the life story writing course, undergraduates use a narrative approach to in-depth interviewing with 22 participants to understand their views and attitudes about their lifetime. The results show that life stories help seniors reinterpret their life experiences, heal pain, and relive joy, affirm value of existence, and change life by thinking positively. Also, the interviews have increased intergenerational understanding and seniors can transmit wisdom to the young people. |
