Globalization has made close relations between countries in the world. To train the next generation to face the challenges of globalization, international education is regarded as an important way to integrate with the world. Although the subject of this study is the school that passed the International School Award certification in 106 academic years in Taichung, the school still encounters difficulties when promoting international education. It is urgent to find a way to deal with it, which is the motivation of this research. The research method is conducted through interviews and collect relevant documents and conference materials of the case school’s international education. The interviewees are the directors and teachers who promoting international education in the case school. The results found that the coping strategies of international education promotion are as follow. First, make good use of the mechanism of national education advisory group to formulate international education curriculum literacy. Second, strengthen knowledge management and file establishment, also establish an international education support system and sharing platform. Let the education authority as the leader and the window of international education. The school creates an immersive bilingual education teaching environment, continuing to improve teachers’teaching profession in bilingual education, and conducts integrated teaching across fields. Finally uses the cross-domain input of industry, government, academics and civilians to introduce international exchange funds and resources, make good use of exchange programs between schools and develop APP online courses to construct cross-cultural exchanges and learning. Promote international education, let children equip with international literacy, cultivate global citizens to have abilities to integrate with the Asia-Pacific, and have an international perspective. The research results and suggestions provide reference for government and schools that promote international education. |
