Curriculum reform policies and context in different period have its own importance. This research uses the cloud platform“National Digital Library of Theses and Dissertation in Taiwan”to focus on dissertation abstract during the implementation of the grade 1-9 curriculum in el-ementary schools from 2003-2014. Use text mining to analyze text data and present the results of multi-analysis modeling based on bar graphs, word clouds, steep slope graphs, topic analysis, cluster analysis, and word network graphs. The methodology uses R language to write text mining, through the analysis of the correlation between words, and then sort out the trend of educational leadership. The results of the study found that the hot topics of educational lead-ership trends during this period extended to the main axis with“teachers, principals, schools, and leadership”. The five major themes of cluster anal-ysis include:“Organization Management and Innovation Management”,“Teaching Leadership and Teacher Profession”,“Teacher Perception and School Scale”,“School Effectiveness and Curriculum Leadership”, and“Transformation Leadership and Service Leadership”. According to the results of text mining, the“teachers”were the main body of the grade 1-9 curriculum reform during that period, and the“principals”played an important role and key position in the educa-tional leadership of the grade 1-9 curriculum. The conclusions of research on educational leadership trends are as follows: (1) The principal's leadership practice promotes effective organization management and implements the macroscopic thinking of innova-tive management. (2) The principal's teaching leadership leads the curriculum devel-opment and practices the value of the curriculum through the profes-sional development of teachers. (3) Principal leadership triggers teacher perception, and school scale affects overall school development. (4) The principal's curriculum leadership leads to the development of school-based curriculum, establishing and optimizing administration to achieve school effectiveness. (5) The transformational leadership of the principal inspires teach-ers, and the service leadership leads the positive development of school. The following recommendations for this research: In terms of research methodology and instruments,“text mining”can be combined with qualitative research. About the research topics can have a more in-depth meta-analysis to evaluate the overall effect of the research and analyze the potential meaning of the article. In terms of re-search sampling, the number of test samples is still insufficient. Relevant materials of educational journals can be added to expand the source of texts to improve the accuracy of prediction in the future. |
