Japanese reading comprehension is a process in which the reader extracts and reconstructs the author's information through Japanese characters, involving a series of complex physiological and psychological factors. The psychological factors include emotional factors, i.e., anxiety is an emotional factor that affects reading comprehension strategies and influences the effectiveness of reading comprehension. In this study, interviews were conducted with 4 Taiwanese learners of Japanese using PAC analysis to explore how 'Japanese reading anxiety' is perceived. The related conceptual elements that emerged were 'reading comprehension anxiety,' 'reading comprehension strategies,' and ' a sense of accomplishment from reading comprehension '. It is thought that this study will be a stepping stone to the study of the content of Japanese language education in order to eliminate 'anxiety about reading Japanese'." |
