"In recent years, relevant governmental authorities also strongly advocate gender equality in employment to make the issue be noticed by all walks of life. Nevertheless, despite the increasing awareness of gender equality among the public, the number of disputes concerning it does not show the trend of decrease. Such disputes shall get relief via Labor Dispute Mediations offered by local government. Consequently, it is necessary and worthwhile to deeply explore the promotion of gender equality rights in employment through such channels. By interviewing nine labors, competent authorities and mediators, the study attempted to know the importance of mediation channels for the labors, as well as conditions of promotion of gender equality rights in employment. In the meantime, it utilized competent authorities’and mediators’practical experience to discuss relevant problems and improvement measures." |
