As the development of financial technology (Fintech), the internet has gradually been implemented in the operation model for a bank. This drives the banking business to recruit their employees with background not just in finance but multiple disciplines. Moreover, how to recruit the needed employees through enhancing the organization attractiveness has become an important issue. In the past, research regarding organization attractiveness has focused on organization brand, organization image, etc. The psychological aspects of employees have not been well addressed and the relationship between realistic job preview and organization attractiveness needs to be further investigated. Therefore, the influence of realistic job preview of bankers on psychological safety climate and organization attractiveness was studied. Furthermore, whether the relationship could be moderated by organization climate was examined. The respondents in this study were bankers in Taiwan. The questionnaires were randomly distributed and 227 were collected. Among them, 224 were usable and analyzed by SPSS. The results showed that realistic job preview and psychological safety climate have significantly positive influence on organization attractiveness. In addition, psychological safety climate was significantly and positively influenced by realistic job preview and organization climate. However, the relationship between realistic job preview and psychological safety climate was not significantly moderated by organization climate. It is suggested that the organization should provide employees with both positive and negative information and good psychological safety climate, which then facilitates in enhancing organization attractiveness and being able to recruit the needed employees effectively. |
