This research aims to understand the current situation of school leaders’ exchange relationships and teachers’ well-being. The exchange relationship between leaders and members means that in the same work unit, there are different and vertical relationship qualities between the leader and subordinates, which can be divided into two categories, namely high-quality and low-quality exchange relationships. In high-quality exchange relationships, Subordinates will be regarded as “in-group members “, and the supervisor will give employees a high degree of trust and more resource allocation. In low-quality exchange relationships, subordinates will be regarded as “out-group members,” and supervisors will give employees a lower degree of trust and relatively little rewards. From the research, it can be understood that the good use of the exchange relation- ship between leaders and members can enable people in the relationship to work together and obtain the well-being, which includes exploring its meaning, essence, and strategies for improving teachers’ well-being through LMX, and hopes to be helpful to follow-up research. |
