In the perspective of intercultural communication, this article tackles the problem of the genesis of The Secret of the Golden Flower and the transformation of the Image of the Meaning of its Teaching. There are different versions of the Chinese Taoist text of The Secret of the Golden Flower. The most important issue of the genesis of these different version is not the philological interpretation from different sects, but the tendency of the emancipatory hermeneutics between different sects. This article exposes the importance of the meditation method of the circularity and retrieve of the light (迴光), that is the ground of the dialogues between the three teaching (Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism). This article tackles the problem of another kind of dialogues, that is the intercultural conversation between Dantao and western Philosophy and Psychology through the translation and commentary by Richard Wilhelm and C. G. Jung. Here I focus also on Jung's emancipatory hermeneutics of the circularity and retrieve of the light. |
