This study aims to examine the Relationship on Competency Leadership Principal's and Teacher's Competency Teaching of Elementary School in Taoyuan City. This study used a questionnaire method toward 820 elementary school teachers in Taoyuan City. The data were analyzed via two statistical softwares, SPSS and AMOS. The research results are (1) The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), which resulted from competency leadership for principals and competency teaching for teachers in Taoyuan City, overall has a good model fit. (2) In the competency leadership for principals' dimension, the highest cognition from elementary school teachers in Taoyuan City is ''The principals encourage teachers to prepare, observe, and discuss the courses together.'' (3) In the competency teaching for teachers' dimension, the highest cognition from elementary school teachers in Taoyuan City is ''It is important for students to learn how to learn.'' (4) Competency leadership for principals and competency teaching for teachers are significantly correlated, and competency leadership for principals directly affects competency teaching for teachers. Lastly, this study, according to the results, provides practical suggestions to principals and teachers. |
