制度競爭與思想的譜系

西周初年，就如何治理齊魯，姜太公與周公分別提出了“舉賢尚功”和“尊尊親親”的制度原則，同時也成功預言了對方制度實踐的結果。事後來看，這可謂一場跨越數百年的自覺的制度競爭和自然實驗。這一軼事值得從四個方面進行分析：（1）周公太公各自提出的制度原則的語境必要性和必然性；（2）“尊尊親親”如何因實踐結果和理論邏輯在與“尚賢”的制度競爭中最終被重塑甚或淘汰；（3）這一制度競爭也逐步改變和影響了從孔子到漢儒的相關表達；（4）這一更可能是後人杜撰的軼事中隱含的制度與思想研究的啟示。
