英文摘要 |
This paper probes the impact of financial systems on national power and international competition. This paper will also explore the relationship between financial and political systems and participants (mainly companies) in the financial market. The scope of the examination is limited to the inceptive stage of a modem financial system, which coincided with the early stage of nation-state formation. The findings of this study have wider implications than the historical emphasis suggests. The findings, for example, also apply to the situation during the 1997 Asian financial crisis. |
