The purpose of this article is to construct a conceptual framework for the principal’s oral narrative ability through literature analysis and theoretical discussion. The framework works a basis of exploring the principal’s narrative ability, especially their oral narrative ability. The principal’s oral narrative ability refers to the ability of the principal to use oral behaviors in schools to tell stories, convey ideas and messages, and explain related events and policies. The conceptual framework of the principal’s oral narrative ability includes: the form of oral narrative ability, the core focus of oral narrative, and the integration and influence of nonverbal communication in oral narrative skills. This conceptual framework is used to understand how the principal behaves in oral narrative ability, the core connotation of the principal’s oral narrative ability, and the situations in which the principal can use its oral narrative ability. The study suggests a framework for future study of narrative ability. |
