英文摘要 |
This year (2012) is the 40th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan. After the shock visit to China by Japanese former Prime Minister Kakuei Tanaka, relations between China and Japan since then has had considerable changes and contrasts, whether in economy, foreign trade, diplomatic affairs, or security and strategic relations. As 2012 is the 'Friendship Year for Japan-China People-to-People Exchanges', Sino-Japan relations have developed from the bilateral relations to interdependent relationships. However, subtle changes in the strategic competition between the two countries may lead to a structural contradiction in political or security issues. Therefore, although potential conflicts could arise from historical and territory issues, both sides should exercise political wisdom and seek to develop a stable and future-oriented Sino-Japanese relations. |
