Trust is an indispensable perspective for the high-performing organization. Trust-based leadership has positive impact or correlation upon staff and organization. Building staff trustful relationship is the key for school reform. The high level of trust among staff will improve the quality of schooling. The research used qualitative method to conduct case study, analyzed leadership experiences of the principal of a case school, connected school leadership with the concept of trust. The principal centered leadership on building trust, divided leadership into four dimensions: ability, integrity, care, and trustworthiness, as well as displayed five leadership behaviors: managing meaning, building relationship, making decision, and delivering result. The leadership framework of the principal embodied the core of trust, and established school trustful culture by using five leadership behaviors and strategies. |
