The purpose of this study is to examine how institutionalized socialization tactics and hospitality interns proactive behaviors jointly affect socialization learning and students adjustment (job satisfaction, vocational identity). Based on a survey sample of 408 students who enrolled in a 6-month or one-year hospitality internship, the study used structural equation modeling (SEM) techniques to test 7 Hypotheses and the model fit. The results indicated that the organizational socialization model fits the interns data very well.
