This paper describes the characteristics of the attendant circumstance use of te-form verbs. After comparing the composition of the adverbs with similar meanings, this paper finds the following three characteristics of this form: 1) the action exerted by the actor has the possibility of control ; 2) the action is naturally produced under certain psychological states; 3) when using the emotional verb with a positive meaning, the action is the original intent ion of the actor.After analyzing the common characteristics of the adverbs which express attendant circumstances, this paper finds that the emotional verbs of Japanese are mostly active verbs, with the except ion of a few. It is known that observing the composition of adverbs can facilitate the recording of the characteristics of emotional verbs. |
