開發具備音韻特徵可視化機制之發音輔助學習系統

Developing a Pronunciation Learning Support System Using Audio Visualization Technology

由於學習時間與場地的限制，許多學習者對於日語發音之學習卻仍舊感覺困難而倍感挫折。究其主因在於現有學習環境並無法針對學習者的個別發音問題提供學習輔導。為解決上述日語發音學習問題，實有必要提供一套有效的機制使學習者在進行發音練習時，主動意識到自身的學習問題，進而改善發音方式，提升發音品質。此一關鍵技術即為音韻特徵可視化。本研究開發之日語發音輔助學習系統，針對台灣日語學習者的發音問題，將其練習資料記錄到一學習履歷資料庫，使學習者能夠根據教師的回饋說明，同時藉由音韻特徵可視化技術，即時比對示範發音聲紋與自身的聲紋，進行線上口語修正練習。對學習者而言，藉由語音可視化所產生之圖示，同時搭配教師回饋與反覆口語練習，不僅可以提升其對日語特定發音之音韻特徵之察覺能力，亦可達到自我修正的效果。經搭配教室教學使用後，初步分析結果顯示本系統除了可有效改善目前日語學習者所面臨的發音問題，降低學習挫折感外，對其日語口語學習動機亦有正面的效果。

Many learners of Japanese encounter various difficulties in mastering pronunciation due to the limits of time and location. Therefore, it is necessary to provide a solution that can assist learners to be aware of their own problems and correct these problems by themselves. Here, audio visualization technology is regarded as a promising solution to the problems above.A pronunciation learning support system is developed that can preserve learners' practice records and allow learners to compare their own records with feedbacks from teacher based on audio visualization technology. Furthermore, learners can correct mistakes of their records on their own through repeated practices. With the help of audio visualization, teacher's feedbacks as well as repeated practices, it is expected to reinforce learner's awareness of specific Japanese pronunciations and improves the quality of oral outputs as a result.From the results of surveys and learners' records, it shows that the proposed system can not only reduce learners' pronunciation problems but also enhance their motivation.
