20-Year History of Aizhixing(Love-Know-Act)

值北京愛知行研究所及其前身北京愛知行動專案成立20周年之際，本文回顧了愛知行創辦的背景，介紹了在維護男女同性戀者人權上的工作，介紹了揭露河南汙血愛滋流行和幫助患者維權的情況。文章簡單介紹愛知行在廣泛的社會邊緣弱勢體中開展健康和權益保護的工作，包括在性工作者、藥物成癮者、維吾爾少數民族等人群中的工作。在介紹愛知行和作者本人遭遇的來自政府的打壓後，作者也說明了和基金單位的艱難關係。最後，作者對愛知行在當前環境可能的作為進行了簡單分析。

The Beijing Aizhixing (Love-Know-Act) Institute and its predecessor the Beijing AIZHI Action Project will celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2014. This article introduces the background of the founder of Aizhixing. Aizhixing defends LGBT rights in China and was launched after the discovery of people infected by HIV/AIDS through contaminated blood in Henan, China. The article briefly introduces Aizhixing's work for health and rigts of marginalized people, including sex workers, drug addicts and Uighur people. The author discussed how the Institute copes with pressure from government, and also shares its difficult relationship with charitable foundations. Finally, the author describes how Aizhixing will continue its work in the current political environment.
