在討論宮澤賢治與商業化農業的關係時，當時擔任岩手縣農會技術員的川原仁佐衛門的證言是極為重要的佐證資料。但是，先行的研究中並未正確地參佐，所以本文將考證川原先生證言中所提到的事物及現象的真實歷史背景，再次進行考察。同時，將會特別針對東北碎石工廠技師時代的宮澤與商業化農業之間關連的特徵來進行整體性說明。透過本論文的考察，能夠很明顯地知道技師時代的宮澤在對商業化農業表達關心的同時，在其販售方面卻是採取毫不在乎的態度。此外，宮澤在晚年時針對農業的作業方針產生變化的事實，也可以從＜葛斯柯布德里的傳記＞裡得知。

The words of Ninzaemon Kawahara, Former Middle Engineer ofFarmers' Association in Iwate Prefecture are very important when talkingabout the relationship between Kenji Miyazawa and commercialagriculture. However, the researches done before did not use the correctways as the references. In this paper, I will confirm the truth of thehistorical background and things mentioned in Kawahara’s words, andinvestigate it again. Meanwhile, I will also focus on the features of therelationship between Miyazawa in his engineer days and commercialagriculture, and give an overall explanation. Through the investigation, Ican see that Miyazawa paid a lot of attention on commercial agriculture.Nevertheless, he did not care a lot about sale. Moreover, through TheBiography of Gusukobudori I can know that Miyazawa changed hisagricultural policies in his late years.
