In this paper, short story 'Hotaru' of the world-famous Japanese writer Haruki Murakami is taken up as a text. And the possibility of 'Hotaru' as a teaching materials is shown from the view of cross-cultural capability training at Japanese language education in Taiwan. The cultural matter about the contents of ''Hotaru ''is considered in meta-language from Japanese Pedagogy. I wish this paper leads to improvement in a Japanese student's Japanese culture understanding capability, and cross-cultural communication skills. |
