本論文以行為主體的特微及過去經驗或前例是否存在的觀點，來探討分析''surukotogaaru”的句意首先，本論文先從行為主體的特微來探討''surukotogaaru，得知基本上行為主體無論是個別特定的主體，或者是一般性、統稱性的主體，都可以使用於表示〈反覆性〉〈可能性〉的''surukotogaaru”而經由本論文的深入探討之後，得知''surukotogaaru表示可能性〉的句意方面，若以過去之經驗前例是否存在以及描述的焦點為基準，可分為〈屬性之可能性〉事象發生之可能性〉假想之可能性〉三大類。由上述內容可得知，影響''surukotogaaru”句意最大的因素並非主體之特微，過去的經驗前例是否存在以及描遠的焦點才是決定''surukoto gaaru''句意的重要關鍵。此外，經由本論文的考察結果得知，''surukotogaaru所表示的〈屬性之可能性），不同於潛在可能句型所表示的一般所認知的性質，而是一種非絕對性的可能性。

This paper describes the meaning of ”surukoto ga aru” in modern Japanese. The viewpoint of this paper is the characteristic of agent and the existence of experience or precedent. The conclusions are as follows.(1) The agents of the actions expressed by ”surukoto ga aru” that means [repetition] and [possibility] are not only general agent, but also individaul agents.(2) The meaning of ”surukoto ga aru” which expresses [possibility] can be classified as [qualitative possibility], [event accurrence possibility], [imaginary possibility] with the standard for the existence of experience or precedent, and the focus of description. Therefore, the factor influences the meaning of ”surukoto ga aru” is not the characteristic of agent, but the existence of experience or precedent.(3) The meaning of ”surukoto ga aru” which expresses [qualitative possibility] is different from the one that potential sentances means, and it means a kind of possibility which is not so absolute.
