北杜夫的〈西瓜〉及〈夜光蟲〉──敘事模式與讀者的關係（Kita Morio's“Watermelon”and“Phosphorescent Animalcule”: the relationship of the narrative mode and readers）

北杜夫の「西瓜」と「夜光虫」──語りの形式と読者の関係

北杜夫的兩篇短篇小說〈西瓜〉及〈夜光蟲〉，都是將作者本身幼年時的經驗當作题材的作品。雖然基於同樣經驗，但閱讀這兩篇作品時的印象卻相當不同。小說形式也同樣採用第一人稱小說的〈西瓜〉及〈夜光蟲〉，兩者給予讀者不同印象的理由到底是什麼？本論文參考安藤（2015）的第一人稱小說的分類法，具體比較〈西瓜〉及〈夜光蟲〉並分析兩者的敘事模式，進而探討作者選擇的敘事模式跟被設想的讀者之間的關係。
Two short novels, Kita Morio's“Watermelon”and“Phosphorescent Animalcule”, Both of them are subjects of an author's own childhood experience. However, based on the same experience, the impression after reading the two works is quite different. Although both works adopted“I”novel mode, What is the reason why“watermelon”and“Phosphorescent Animalcule”appear different impression to the reader? This paper concretely compares“watermelon”and“Phosphorescent Animalcule“, based on Andou (2015) 's“I“novel classification method, analyzed the narrative mode of each story, then, reserched the relationship of the narrative mode chosen by the author and the assumed readers.

北杜夫の「西瓜」と「夜光虫」という二つの短篇小說は、どちらも作者自身の幼少時の、ある経験を題材にしたものである。ただ、同じ経験に基きながら、両作品の読後の印象はかなり異なる。小說形式としても、同じ一人称小說の体裁を採った「西瓜」と「夜光虫」が、読者に異なる印象を与える理由は一体どこにあるのだろうか。本稿は、「西瓜」と「夜光虫」の具体的な比較を行い、安藤（2015）の一人称小說分類法を参考に、それぞれの語りの形式を分析すると共に、作者が選んだ語りの形式と、想定される読者の関係について考察するものである。
