Modern western medicine flows into China, spread by missionaries, local literati, and intellectuals returned home county after studying abroad, gradually infiltrating and influencing Chinese traditional medicine. At the beginning of the 20th century, medical health knowledge was no longer confined to medical books, and it was promoted in the women's magazine of the new literary platform. The women's magazine of this thesis is aresearch texts and discusses three topics: First, the intellectuals' discussion and selection criteria for the nursing mother's position| Second, whether animal milk is suitable for infants, its support and opposition opinions| Third, how importers of dried milk use advertising to enter the Chinese market and induce women to buy goods. Indeed, we can see the source for contemporary literati, which leads them to worship and craving for new knowledge in the West. In addition, it is necessary to explore whether the readers of women's magazines are limited to certain classes and ethnic groups, which causes the limitation of the spread of health concepts. |
