OECD declared ''education and training'' as an important strategy for stabilizing Nursing Aides' employment. Moreover, ''linking manpower training and industrial development to enhance labor employment functions'' is also an important part of the seven policy outlines of the ''Mid-term Policy Plan (2017-2020)'' for Ministry of Labor. To assist the public to find good quality jobs, and truly increase salary, Ministry of Labor has continued to promote the employment programs of ''career consultation'' and ''training-employment Integration '', so that the public can effectively link the vocational training system to the enterprise to learn new skills. This study was conducted to develop big data analysis on trainees who have taken vocational training courses from the Workforce Development Agency, Ministry of Labor or the Taiwan Jobs Website. The database used includes TIMS system, Labor Insurance files, withdraw person files of labor retirement system, and institution files. This study screened 30,358 trainees who had attended related training courses from 2012 to 2016, and established basic information on Nursing Aides employment history and average salary. The summary of the research results of comprehensive data analysis is as follows, 1. About 33% ~ 35% of trainees joined in the care service industry after training. 2. The main group joined in the care service industry after training is 40-59 years old, high school education or below. 3. Young, college-educated students have an advantage in looking for a job in the care service industry, but exists high employee turnover rate. 4. Different gender trainees have similar employment rates after training, but male turnover rate is higher than that of women. 5. Eastern region trainees have higher employment rates, but also exists higher turnover rate. 6. Career services courses provide better results for unemployed and indigenous people. 7. Long-term Care Center, nursing Home, medical unit trainees have higher employment rate after training. 8. After the implementation of Long-term Care 2.0, the average salary growth rate of the care service industry reached 17.6%. |
