Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) arising from the gynecological tract are extremely rare, with resultant difficulty of diagnosis and management of this extragastrointestinal tract GISTs (E-GISTs). The following case report shows an unusual clinical presentation of a 78-year woman with rectovaginal mass undergoing posterior exenteration who was finally diagnosed E-GISTs. |
