北蕉及仙人蕉抽穗後諸性狀之再研究

Reevaluation of Some Characteristics of Cavendish Bananas 'Pei-Chiao' and 'Hsien-Jen-Chiao'

本研究在比較仙人蕉、北蕉抽穗後諸性狀之差異，結果顯示北蕉開花期較仙人蕉早4.77日，然開花迄果實成熟所需日數，仙人蕉較北蕉早4，C8日；採收時之有效葉片，北蕉較仙人蕉多0.5枚；單株平均產量仙人蕉較北蕉重1.72kg；然差異不顯著。採收時青香蕉之果皮與室溫下未經催熟及在低溫催熟之黃熟香蕉果皮，仙人蕉較北蕉分別厚0.14 mm，0.17 mm，和0.19 mm；溫度控制在14.5-15℃，相對濕度維持在88%左右，仙人蕉較北蕉耐貯0.5日；室溫下未經催熟與在低溫冷藏催熟之黃熟香蕉糖度，仙人蕉較北蕉分別0.95及0.56 Brix。

Reevaluation of some charaoteristics of Cavendish bananas ”Pei-Chiao” and ”Hsien-Jen-Chiao” were conducted in Taiwan Banana Research Institute located at Chiuju. Pingtung. The results showed that compared with ”Pei-Chiao”, the ”Hsien-Jen-Chaio” required 4.77 days more for flowering, but took. 4.08 days less for fruit maturation, Also ”Hsien-Jen-Chiao” had 0.5 less of leaf blade at harvesting, 1.72 kg heavier in yield per plant, and 0.14 mm thicker in thickness of green-firm-peel than that of ”Pei-Chiao”, but statistically no significant. The keeping qualities (storage life, thickness of peel and sugar content) of ripening bananas of ”Hsien-Jen-Chiao” were better than that of ”Pei-Chiao”.
