番茄品種'FMTT 906'之穴盤苗育苗一個月後，鮮重以處理2次稀釋2,000倍根毛王者最高，而‘農友301’及‘新光’番茄幼苗之鮮重，則以處理2次稀釋3,000倍根毛王者最佳。定植後之'FMTT906'存活率，以根毛王處理者為100%，對照組僅有73%。番茄苗期施用稀釋2,000倍至3,000倍的根毛王即可有效地促進生長，同時強化根系的發育及提高移植存活率。田間試驗結果顯示在台北'FMTT906'植株以苗期處理根毛王，且定植後也加以施用根毛王及疫防射-2號（OHYA-2號）者為最佳，其花序數平均可比對照組多近一串。宜蘭地區農民所栽之‘彩果’品種番茄，其生長皆以苗期處理根毛王，定植後加施根毛王及疫防射-2號者最佳，即植株生長及產果量皆顯著優於對照組，且生長全期皆無病害發生。經施用2次根毛王（2000-3000 X）育苗，且定植後隔週分別施用根毛王（2000 X）及疫防射-2號（2000 X）的'FMTT 906'及‘彩果’番茄，都可分別增產86%及23%。 Tomato seedlings were cultivated in pot with medium which produced by Green Orchids Co. (containing peat, woody peat, coconut shell powder, vermiculite, perlite and organic fertilizer). Results showed that the fresh weights of 'FMTT 906' was the highest as treated twice with Lysine-3 solution (in 2,000 X of dilution) in plugs. While for 'Known You 301' and 'New Brilliant' the highest fresh weights were resulted by applying twice with Lysine-3 (in 3,000 X of dilution). The Lysine-3 treated 'FMTT 906' seedlings had 100% of transplanting survival rates (TSR), while those control seedlings only had 73%. Thus a dilution of 2,000-3,000 X of Lysine-3 was recommended for the cultivation of tomato seedlings in plug system for a better root development and higher TSR. Field test results showed that in Taipei, the 'FMTT 906' tomato plants had the highest fruit yield which were applied with Lysine-3 twice in seedling stage, then Lysine-3 and OHYA-2 were applied biweekly and separately. Because those tomato plants had one more flower inflorescence than the control, and thus could bear more fruits. In YiLan tomato grower's farm, 'Colored Fruit' tomato showed the same results as of 'FMTT 906'. Both varieties of tomato increased 86 ('FMTT 906') and 23% ('Colored Fruit') of fruit productivities than the control. Also there was no disease occurred during the entire growing seasons of tomato. It is highly recommended that treated tomato seedlings with 2,000-3,000 X of Lysine-3 twice, then apply Lysine-3 (2,000 X) and OHYA-2 (2,000 X) biweekly and separately, then healthier seedlings and higher tomato fruit production could be resulted.
