This research continues to develop the nonlinear structural analysis program PISA3D and its graphic post processing program VISA3D. PISA3D and VISA3D are used to simulate various types of structures and components for earthquake engineering researches and practical seismic designs. Two new material models are developed to serve different requirements. The first model is to simulate pre-stressed beam-column joints, while the second one is a strip model to simulate the steel shear panel. These numerical simulation tests reasonably match with corresponding experiment results. This work adopts the object-oriented techniques and advanced 3D visualization to keep planning a more complete software framework for future usability and extensibility.
