比較網路旅遊華語詞表與旅遊教材詞彙表的異同

A Comparison of the Web-based Travel Chinese Vocabulary List and the Vocabulary Items Used in Travel Chinese Textbooks

隨著國際間的交流頻繁，旅遊語言的使用需求漸增，然而在旅遊華語的研究上，針對旅遊華語教學所建立的語料庫及研究尚付之闕如。因此本研究首先以網路語料庫技術為基礎，建置大型「旅遊華語語料庫」，並從中篩選出511個最高頻的旅遊詞彙編輯成「網路旅遊華語詞表」。本詞表選取自真實且豐富的網路語料，可作為旅遊華語教材撰寫的參考。為補強旅遊華語教材中收詞的豐富度，本研究首先檢視了兩本臺灣著名的旅遊華語教材，分析其詞彙並整理成教材詞彙表後，進一步比較網路詞表和教材詞彙表的收詞是否有差異。比較後發現兩者在收詞上各有特色，且涵蓋面各有不同，但若教材詞彙表能納入網路詞表補充的詞彙，則應能提升旅遊華語教材在選詞上的完整度。

The burgeoning tourism industry around the globe has aroused the need for language teaching resources focusing on travel. Teaching materials on travel Chinese, in particular, are in great demand. However, few studies have dealt with the issue of travel Chinese. The current study employed an innovative “Web as Corpus” method to build a Web Travel Chinese Corpus (WTCC). Based on WTCC, we developed a wordlist, which consists of 511 most high frequency words. The WTCC wordlist can be used as a useful reference when compiling Chinese teaching materials. To enhance the authenticity and richness of the existing teaching materials, the vocabulary items from two travel Chinese textbooks Oh! My Guide! 吃喝玩樂學華語 (Eat, Travel, and Learn Chinese in Taiwan) and Go Traveling were compared with the WTCC wordlist. The comparison reveals that the WTCC wordlist and the wordlist extracted from two travel Chinese textbooks have different focuses. Each of them has its strengths and weaknesses. It is clear that WTCC wordlist can be used to supplement the existing travel Chinese teaching materials.
