本文以明初傳奇小說集《剪燈新話》為研究對象,就小說中大量的他界書寫,探討作者瞿佑著力刻畫他界的意涵。文中參酌敘事學理論,透過分析作者形塑他界的敘事技巧及敘事話語,探討此中是如何彰顯出一種既貼近又疏離的他者感知,讀者隨著小說人物進入陌生他界,所感受到的不僅是虛實莫辨的「異世」,還有另一個與之形影相隨、充滿現實感的「易世」。而瞿佑寓於異世中的易世之感,最終則導引出他界由存在乃至於失落的定型發展,小說中出入他界的「物」、「人」之消逝,無非是消解他界實存的想像,以之牽引讀者歸返、正視身處之現世。
This essay investigates the meaning of the plenty writing of “the Other world” that Qu You devoted himself to in Jian Deng Xin Hua, a romance in early Ming Dynasty. Based on the Narratism, this article focuses on how the alienated/intimate sense of “Other” is presented by analyzing the author's narrative techniques/discourses of creating “the other world.” Following the protagonist, readers enter an alienated Other world, and not only feel a miraculous world that hard to tell it's actual or fictitious, but also sense an exchanged dynasty following like a shadow which is so real. This feeling of dynasty exchange in the other world leads Jian Deng Xin Hua into a pattern that the extinguish of Other world. The vanish of thing/people in the romance dispels the illusion of the Other world, thus brings the readers to return to this actual world we live in. |
