本研究配合教育部九年一貫之環境教育推廣計畫,希望透過木工教學體驗活動,加強傳達合理利用木材與生態教育的關係,融入九年一貫生態旅遊及環保材料之教育課題,以增加對林產品的認知與利用為目的。從問卷調查結果發現,國小學生與國中學生有顯著差異,而且學生對於木工教學的認知方面明顯增加,並表示認同木工教學之木製品,極適宜作為學校工藝課程之美術教材,同時了解合理利用木材對環保的重要性,亦期望可以定期到學校舉辦木工教學課程,且樂意參與木工教學活動,學生認為木工教學的作品實用性非常重要。最後建議,利用此戶外生態休閒的木工教學體驗方式,除了有機會作為九年一貫環境生態教育課題之外,其融入生態教育並提升學生對木材利用與環保的認識,更可增加林產品的利用與行銷。 A promotional plan for environmental bio-education of grade 1-9 was developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Education for this study. A method was developed that integrated to experience woodworking programs and bio-education to promote forest products. The research wed relationships communication on how to use wood and its environmental friendliness. The questionnaires were completed to gather information for this research. The results were conducted on selected questions from elementary and junior-high school students. The concept of wise use of wood results of the study indicates the students would like to see woodworking as part of industrial education programs in school. After the educational programs students indicate they understand the wise utilized wood and environmental protection. Subsequent suggest utilizing DIY woodworking of recreation method to promote marketing of forest products. This research indicates opportunities to expand woodworking programs in the Taiwanese public school.

A promotional plan for environmental bio-education of grade 1-9 was developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Education for this study. A method was developed that integrated to experience woodworking programs and bio-education to promote forest products.
