National Health Insurance Administration is a public insurance organization that just went through from insurance change several years ago. The process of organizational change may cause psychological contract breach in members' mind and lead to higher organizational cynicism, organizational politics perception, and ends up affecting organizational citizenship behavior negatively. In the past years, there are many researches regard of organizational citizenship behavior, but that with psychological contract breach as an antecedent is rare. Therefore, this research can provide evidences to the research gap. This study sent out 30 sets of questionnaires with 220 pairs. In total, 198 (90%) returned questionnaires were usable. The results indicated that psychological contract breach is not related to organizational politics perception. A high level of psychological contract breach could result in high level of organizational cynicism and low level of organizational citizen behavior. On the other hand, when the organizational politics perception or organizational cynicism is high, the organizational citizen behavior is low. Finally, for the mediation effect, organizational cynicism and organizational politics perception have partial mediation effect on the relationship between psychological contract breach and organizational citizen behavior. |
