In Pre-Qin, the philosophers spread the stories about Confucian to prove their thought. In these Confucian stories, they gave Tzu-Lu and Tzu-Kung one type of image: the saint follower. In two kinds of genre stories, the two ”saint followers” support Confucius sometimes and question sometimes. This paper discusses on those stories. It reveals Pre-Qin and Han philosophers sanctified Confucius through Tzu-Lu and Tzu-Kung's character in the stories. |
