The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among motivations, constraints and intent to repeat participation in participants of cycling event. A questionnaire survey was administered. A total of 400 questionnaires were distributed, of which 387 were valid. The data were analyzed by descriptive and multiple regression analyses using SPSS 18.0. Conclusions were as follows: (a) Service constraint was the major constraint encountered by the cycling participants; (b) Motivation could significantly predict willingness to participate again. Service constraint was the major constraints encountered by the cycling participant; therefore, it is suggested that the authorities concerned should enhance the overall quantities and qualities related to sport instructors. In this way, the service constraints could be reduced and thus promote the participants’ intent to repeat participation. |
