Enterprises have begun to consider human resources as an important asset in the organization. The employees’ presentation can directly affect an organization’s performance and goal achievement. With the keen competition in global technology industry, the organizational performance and competitive advantages can be enhanced through employees’ organizational citizenship behavior, high emotional intelligence, etc. The aim of this study is to explore the effects of employees’ emotional intelligence and job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior in the high-technology industry in Taiwan. The study involves a survey method and the empirical results show that: (1) there is a significant positive effect of employees’ emotional intelligence on organizational citizenship behavior, (2) a significant positive effect of employees’ emotional intelligence on job satisfaction, (3) a significant positive effect of employees’ job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior, and (4) when adding job satisfaction, there is a significant positive effect of employees’ emotional intelligence on organizational citizenship behavior. |
