Numerous studies have evidenced that organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) has positive impact on organizational operation and effectiveness. This study focuses on investigating the effects of perceived organizational support (POS) on OCB, and the mediating role that affective commitment to organization plays between the relationship of POS and OCB. Analysis of 939 surveyed data, which were collected from 15 farmer associations in Taiwan, indicates that POS not only has directly positive impact on OCB, but also has indirect influence via effective commitment. Furthermore, the contribution and managerial implications were discussed. |
