患有子宮內膜異位婦女的卵巢癌風險

The risk of epithelial ovarian cancer in women with supposed and confirmed endometriosis

患有子宮內膜異位的婦女併發特別型態的癌症，已經有許多研究證實。但是資料顯示其風險，並不一致。本篇的重點放在患有子宮內膜異位的婦女，因為不同的診斷條件，會造成卵巢癌風險的評估，可能有極大的差異。藉由本篇的研究，可以進一步瞭解，為何文獻對於子宮內膜異位的婦女併發卵巢癌的風險，會有不同的結果。

Women with endometriosis are supposed to have a higher risk of epithelial ovarian cancer; however, the estimated risk varied widely. In the current study, we would like to explore the possible reason as to why the risk ratio is varied. We used the National Health Insurance Research Database to identify women with endometriosis based on the different diagnostic criteria and confirmed that diagnostic criteria may significantly affect the final risk ratio.
