英文摘要 |
The aim of this study is to explore the relationships among personality, emotional intelligence (EI) and well-being for students in the Tourism Department. The study involves a survey and the use of Pearson correlations and hierarchical linear modeling (HLM) to test all proposed hypotheses. The empirical results show that the traits of personality (Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion and Agreeableness) have positive relations to well-being, and Neuroticism appears to have a negative relation to well-being. The results are same with personality traits to emotional intelligence. Different levels of emotional intelligence ability (high and low) have a significant moderating effect which influences the personality traits and well-being. The conclusions and management implications are then presented based on the findings. |
