In 2007, 203 Acute Hepatitis A cases were confirmed (incidence rate = 0.89 / 105) which was more than 189 confirmed cases (incidence rate = 0.83 / 105) in 2006. The characteristics of confirmed Acute Hepatitis A cases were as follows: The sex ratio was 0.9 (0.9:1.0), with 96 male cases (47.3%) and 107 female cases (52.7%). Among them, incidence was highest for individuals of aged 25-39 (n = 81), following those aged 40-64 (n =65), 15-24 (n = 35), elder or equal to 65 years old (n = 11), 5-14 (n = 7), 1-4 (n = 3), and less than 1 (n = 1). |
