This study used the content analysis to explore the symbolic meanings of the cuisines on state banquet. In Taiwan, food culture is influenced mainly by various racial and ethnic groups. At a state banquet in history, the cuisines usually imply the specific culture or multi-cultural meaning. The study found that to learn the food culture could lead to understand more about the relationship among racial groups and further to help the multicultural education. Multi-cultural exposure can increase creativity. The descendants should cherish not only the traditional culture but also the developed multi-culture. |
