朱熹與伊藤仁齋在「公共哲學」的交會

The Intersection of Zhu Xi and Ito Jinsai in Public Philosophy

本文針對學界有關朱熹和伊藤仁齋與公共哲學之關係的研究成果進行探討。首先略述近年來歐美與日本有關公共哲學的活動，接著分別針對學界如何指出朱熹和伊藤仁齋的思想中具有可為當代公共哲學利用的資源，進行各自的述評。最後筆者試圖針對兩者提出可能的調和。筆者認為，在公共哲學的探討上，我們可以先不從有關超越界的論述著手，而是先以道德規範之實踐為起點來思考。我們應以追求共同善為目標，避免一概聽任人情而引發的情欲放蕩之弊，同時也應保持開放、寬容的態度，盡可能地進行與他者的交流、對話，避免落入私意而產生僵化的道德教條主義。我們需要以修身為基礎的公共哲學，培養上述主體所需的德行。

This paper examines the relationship of Zhu Xi and Ito Jinsai’s thoughtbetween public philosophies in nowadays. I first provide a brief overview of therepresentation of the discussion on public philosophy in America and Japan. Ithen review the prior research on the relationship of Zhu Xi and Ito Jinsai’sthought between public philosophies. Finally, since Zhu Xi and Ito Jinsai’sthought are conflict each other, I try to reconcile their thought and advocate apractice that basic on disciplining to dialogue with others with sincere attitude topromote the healthy development of democratic society.
