Secondly, based on the characteristics of picture books, their application is categorized into "visual art" and "culture" for further analyzing. The results are as follows. First, when indigenous parents were asked to select picture books, the main determining factors are domestic-caregiver and the number of siblings. Meanwhile, when asked to apply picture books, factors such as the parents' gender, the parents' age and the main domestic-caregiver are taken into account. Secondly, for application of visual art, parents would take colors, materials, and style of the picture books into consideration; for application of culture, they would mainly consider what picture books would act when interacting with children in their family relationships, and whether picture books would affect their children's reading habits, abstract thinking, sense of humor, and brainstorming or not. |
