跌倒通報系統在安養機構之應用－－以南部安養機構為例

Applying Patient Fall Reporting System in Long-term Care Institute--A Case of Long-term Care Institute in Southern Taiwan

國內發生幾起重大病安事件及經歷SARS 後，應用資訊科技於照護過程 以避免或預防病人因藥物或醫護處置所造成不良的結果或傷害，已是醫療產 業除了專業照護之外，最重要的一環。隸屬長期照護體系的「安養機構」雖 以安養為主、醫療為輔，但在全球致力於提升病安的目標下，其照護品質與 住民安全勢必成為下一波被社會所重視的問題。 無線射頻識別（Radio Frequency Identification, RFID） 被列為全球重點科 技， RFID 在各行業與醫療產業已被多元採用。本文將RFID 定位技術導入安養 機構中，於住民跌倒時發出警訊，提醒照護人員在第一時間抵達該定點給予 救護，將跌倒所導致的傷害程度降到最低，提高住民生命安全的保障，進而 延續安養住氏之生命。對安養機構而言，能掌握競爭優勢，提高經營效率與 降低照護成本。 研究對象為屏南地區四家安養機構從業人員，經說明與試用本研究所建 置的íRFID 安養管理資訊系統」後進行問卷填寫，結果顯示受訪者皆同意其 「對新的資訊科技會去試驗它」，而影響其使用該系統意圖最大的變數為相容 性，意即安養機構原有的資訊系統若能與新導入的系統相容，則受訪者有較 高的使用意願o 本系統開發的經驗，可作為其他護理機構或長期照護中心建 置，利用RFID 來追蹤管理住民動向與安全監控管理資訊系統之參考。

After the SARS epidemic and patient safety affairs occurred in 2002, using patient-oriented technology to prevent or avoid damages such as errors, bias, and to patients has become the most important part of medical care process next to professional treatment in Taiwan healthcare industry. Though the main purpose of longterm care institutes is accommodating instead of medical caring the residents, the globalized trend of patient safety would definitely influence the care quality of long-term care institutes in the near future. RFID has been listed as one of the most important ten technologies in the world. It has been applied in many industries, even the healthcare industry. This study used the RFID technology to locate and alarm patient fall for medical staffs to provide appropriate treatment at the right time to minimize the damage and prolong resident's life in the long-term care centers. In addition, the long-term care center can gain competitive advantages and business efficiency with lower caring cost by using RFID.
