This paper investigated the job satisfaction of physician assistants in different attributes including professional autonomy, working environment, interaction among colleagues, promotion and growth, supervisor's leadership, and salary as well as bonus. We utilized a cross-sectional research through structured questionnaire and got final respondents of 77 with rate of 88.23%. Results indicate that the level of job satisfaction achieved the highest in term of 'professional autonomy', but the lowest in term of 'salary as well as bonus'. In terms of 'peer interaction' and 'salary as well as bonus', the level of job satisfaction in medical centers was averagely higher than that in district hospitals with statistical significance (p<0.05). The staffs with working period within 2 years were satisfied mostly in terms of 'working environment' and 'promotion and growth' with statistical significance. To sum up, our results provide concrete information and reference for hospital administration. |
