血液透析室設備改善對於廢棄物減量及作業之改善

Refit of the equipments to improve the reducing amount of waste and operating procedure in the hemodialysis room

以流程改善方式及設備創新手法，達到垃圾減量目的，進而降低醫院越來越高 的生物醫療廢棄物處理費及增加資源回收量、減輕護理人員工作量。院方依垃圾分類 統計之資料顯示，將產出生物醫療廢棄物量較多的單位─血液透析室，做為垃圾減量 的重點單位，經行政與護理單位多次現場會勘討論後，以佔最大宗的人工腎臟及迴路 管為主要的廢棄物來源。應用洗腎機的血液幫浦設備及操作流程，將殘留在人工腎臟 及迴路管之耗材內的感染性廢水排空，大量減輕了生物醫療廢棄物，更創新設計一個 「簡易型感染性廢水回收連接器」，將感染性廢水直接排入院內污水處理場內處理， 簡化護理人員的工作量，並可避免院內感染事件的發生，提昇醫院的醫護專業形象。 因此，在生物醫療廢棄物減量後，醫院每年節省生物醫療廢棄物處理費：356,400元與 人力工時費：212,160元，增加空桶資源回收費：180,000元／年此創新方案成效甚好， 願與他院分享，共同創造更好的醫護水平。

Improving the operating procedure and using an innovative apparatus to achieve the purpose that reduced the amount of bio-medical waste successfully. Further, it enabled the hospital to reduce the treatment expense of bio-medical waste, increase the amount of resource recovery and lighten nursing staff's workload. In accordance with the statistic information in the classified garbage for the Chia-Yi Christian Hospital in Taiwan, it revealed that the hemodialysis room would produce more quantity of bio-medical waste. This room would become the key department which was studied to decrease waste. These big quantities of artificial kidneys and pipelines were the main source for waste after the administration and the nursing departments went to explore and discuss on the spot many times. Employing the blood pump apparatus of dialysis machine and changing the operating procedure to empty the infective waste water that left in the artificial kidneys and pipelines. It would reduce any amount of bio-medical waste. In this work, we had innovated and designed a simple and easy type system for retrieving the infective waste water. Directly led the infective waste water to the field of sewage treatment to simplify the operating procedure of the nursing staff, avoid the infecting incident occurring in the hospital and promote the professional image of nursing care for the hospital. Through the bio-medical waste reducing, our hospital saved the treatment expense of bio-medical waste: NT$ 356,400 dollars/year, saved the labor-power expense: NT$ 212,160 dollars/year and increased the income of recycled empty barrel: NT$ 180,000 dollars/year. The performance was very good. We wished to share the ideal with other institutes and reached an advanced level in nursing care together.
