The Study of the Relationship among the Substitute teachers’ Perceived Organizational Support, Psychological Contract and Organizational Citizenship Behavior in Elementary Schools in Taoyuan City, Hsinchu City, Hsinchu County and Miaoli County |

The study used a questionnaire survey to understand the relationship among the substitute teachers’ perceived organizational support, psychological contract and organizational citizenship behavior in elementary schools in Taoyuan city, Hsinchu city, Hsinchu county and Miaoli county. 604 copies of the questionnaire were distributed, 524 of them were retrieved, and 513 of them were valid questionnaire. After the retrieval of the questionnaire, this study analyzed the data by descriptive statistics, independent-sample t test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation, canonical correlation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. All assumptions were investigated and validated. The results of the study were as follows:1. Substitute teachers have medium-high perception degree toward perceived organizational support, psychological contract and organizational citizenship behavior. 2. There is a significant difference among background variable perception toward perceived organizational support in area, age, duty type, education for the elementary school substitute teachers.3. There is a significant difference among background variable perception toward psychological contract in age for the elementary school substitute teachers. 4. There is a significant difference among background variable perception toward organizational citizenship behavior in area, age, teacher’s certificate, seniority for the elementary school substitute teachers.5. There is a significant positive correlation among perceived organizational support, psychological contract, and organizational citizenship behavior.6. There is a significant positive canonical correlation among perceived organizational support, psychological contract, and organizational citizenship behavior.7. The substitute teachers’ perceived organizational support and psychological contract has high predictive power toward organizational citizenship behavior |
