中華兒童百科全書中表現的政治價值及權威人物之分析

Content Analysis of the Chinese Children’s Encyclopedia: the Presentation of Political Values and Authoritative Personnel

以中華兒童百科全書為樣本，就其中表現的政治價值及權威人物做內容分析。發現：就政治價值來說，以國家認同最多，政府情感及民主信念較少；國家認同部份，又以愛國忠貞的條目最少，而政府認知部份，以人格化的最多；最常使用中性的價值表現。就權威人物來說，政治權威人物過多，將近半數，善者多於惡者，男性佔絕大多數；地位方面，臣子最多，君王次之，改革者最少。建議：增加兒童政治社會化課外讀物之編寫，注重對政府正向情感之表達並將民主觀念融會其中。兒童讀物的角色取材應兼及非政治人物，並對一般平民多予介紹，尤應改變男女性別之偏見。只做描述統計，缺少國外類似圖書之比較是其缺點。

In the presentation of political values in the Chinese Children’s Encyclopedia, the researcher found that:“National Identity”was shared the most,“Government Feeling”and“Democratic Beliefs”were shared least.“Partiotism and Loyality”shared the least part of “National Identity”，those of“Personalization”occupied the largest percentage of“Government Knowledge”. Talking about the “Authoritative Personnel”, the writer believe political personnel appear too frequently, the good are more than the evil, and every personality represented in a male. According to status: the court personnel are the most frequently mentioned, emperors the second, and reformers the least. The researcher suggests: it is necessary to strengthen the compilation of children’s literature by including more contents about political socialization, especially paying attention to democratic beliefs and the expression of the government’s positive feelings. Further, a balance should be maintained between the arrangement of political and non-political personnel, authoritative and general persons, male and female. Other shortages occur in the lack of inferential statistics and a comparison with foreign children’s reference books.
